Inform Recruitment is working with a not-for-profit organisation, recruiting a Communications and Campaigns Manager. This is a newly created position within their External Relations department. The team is big on collaboration and sharing ideas and encourages a proactive and forward-thinking environment.

The Communications and Campaigns Manager will be responsible for planning and driving communications activity to grow engagement, social media following and raise awareness and recognition of the brand.

You will have the option of hybrid working – two days in the office/three from home – and receive benefits such as a medical cash plan, employee rewards, and health and wellness-focused initiatives. The annual leave entitlement starts at 25 days and will increase with your length of service. For days you are in the office, there is ample on-site parking.

As Communications and Campaigns Manager your responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan and deliver integrated communications to grow the organisation’s profile with key audiences and stakeholders
  • Manage and establish relationships with media partners, trade press and stakeholders
  • Build a strategy for social media, maximising the use of short-form videos and animations
  • Create content with high engagement rates
  • Oversee the PR and delivery for a national awards programme
  • Manage and develop two direct reports
  • Achieve KPIs
  • Work in line with budgets
  • Travel and attend events – 1 or 2 days per month

The role requires and individual who is engaging, dynamic, inquisitive and highly organised, and possesses the following experience:

  • 3+ years in a communications role
  • Planning and advising on campaigns
  • Maximising brand reach and engagement
  • Guiding strategic communications with audience insight and analysis
  • An eye for creating inspirational stories
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Experience of PR
  • Commercial awareness
  • People management
