Up to £21500 + company profit-related bonus

Inform Recruitment is working with a national wholesaler, recruiting an Accounts Office Administrator to support the company’s Head Office. 

As Accounts Office Administrator, you will work as part of a diverse team that works together. In addition to your salary, you will receive a generous company profit-related bonus. The business will also provide you with the opportunity to study accountancy-related qualifications to support you in your role, should you wish. 

The main criteria are a high level of numeracy, good IT skills, a keenness to learn, good time management, organisation, and communication skills – the rest will be taught via on-the-job training. Candidates who are AAT qualified are highly desirable.

Your main duties will be to:

  • Seeking approval, coding and posting of purchase ledger invoices 
  • Allocation of costs down to general ledger 
  • Expense claim management 
  • Dealing with queries and discrepancies 
  • Processing manual and automated payments 
  • Supplier reconciliations 
  • Running reports for management. 
  • Dealing with emails and correspondence 
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Dealing with post
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise 

Additional information:

  • Working hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch.
  • Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays, which will increase with service.
  • Parking: free, on-site.
